School Closes for Spring Half Term - 13th February 2026 at 15:00

Week 4

Hello everyone.

This week has been busy as always. Continuing with our topic we have been finding out about children around the world. Exploring their clothing, the games and toys they play with and also looking at babies around the world and how they are carried. The children have created a super picture to show children from around the world that we will display in class. They have enjoyed the story books in class, been busy creating models and had lots of fun outside.

We also managed to fit in a visit to the park to look and listen for signs of spring. The children were amazing! Miss Edwards and I were vey proud of them! Thank you to the grown ups who came along, your help was very much appreciated.

The children found many signs of spring. Even though it was very cold, we all had a fantastic time! We even saw the bird box that Freddie and his dad made!

Next week is National Storytelling Week, we aim to be sharing lots of stories. Maybe you could also do this at home.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Take care
