Hello Everyone 

This week we have loved finding out about how people travel to different places, different kinds of transport and transport that is used in different parts of the world. The children bring a wealth of knowledge to our class chats and are always very keen to learn new facts. 

This we have written about a journey we'd been on and how we got there. In maths we have been looking at different representations of numbers 6, 7 and 8, subitising 6,7 and 8 and showing these numbers on a 10 frame. 

We went crafty crazy on Friday afternoon and made moveable car pictures. There was a real buzz in the classroom as the children created these!

Next week we'll find out about how other children and their families live, their traditional clothes, past times, food and flags from around the world. Please try to complete the sheet that i sent home on Friday, which outlines the places around the world that our R2 children's families originate from. We'll be using these in our topic work next week.
