As requested-the Reception pumpkin song that we joined in with at the Harvest Festival! We were amazing backing singers!
The children have enjoyed carving pumpkins with Mrs Peters. We are very lucky to have Miss Kaur every Thursday and Friday from Trafford College. This week she showed children how to make diva lamps using air drying clay.
Harvest
The children have been working hard in preparation for the Harvest Festival. After practising,rehearsals in the hall...we are ready to go!
We have been celebrating Diwali in Nursery.Mrs Panda shared with the children why and how she celebrates this beautiful festival.
What an amazing group of children we have in Nursery! They are really embracing new experiences and challenges being set. It is also wonderful to see new friendships forming and children collaborating indoor and outdoor.

Rain can't stop us!
This week we have been creating self portraits in the creative area. The children were encouraged to look at themselves in the mirror and select a paint for their skin tone, hair, eyes and lips. They are now proudly on display on our Nursery wall. Please pop in to have a look!
This week we have embedded routines. The children have joined in with circle time, singing and story times. We even had our dance session in the hall on Monday, with Courtney!
In the morning/afternoon children will be encouraged to self register by posting their names into the box - if you do enter with your child please ask them to do this.
The children are being continously challenged to become more independent. We have been loving the messy play in the mud kitchen, which means we have had to practise putting on wellies! They are also being encouraged to tidy up on their own, when they have finished playing in an area.
Well, what an amazing week! I have been so impressed with how well the children have settled into our Nursery.
We have taken our time to settle into new routines, allowing lots of time for free play to make new friends and explore the provision.
