It's a Cracker!
This week it was all about Stick Man! We had our first Drawing Club, where children are encouraged to join in with drawing different elements of a story but also enjoying the freedom to add their own ideas, if they want to.
In our outdoor area we collected sticks that the wind had snapped off our enormous tree. We used the sticks we found to create our own stick people, by independently arranging them and adhering them to our chosen backgrounds.
Hot Chocolate Fridays!!!!
We love a project in Nursery! This week we have been very busy linking our learning to The Three Little Pigs and numbers 1,2,3! The children have listened to the story and then created their own houses out of junk- some of the children then decided to paint them.
We have started our Christmas Play rehearsals, which are going brilliantly. We can't wait to show you our performance of 'It's a Cracker!'.
A rainy, wet end to the week meant only one thing...hot chocolate!!!!!
We have had a lovely week back in school. We have had so much fun exploring paint,glue and glitter!
