Hello R2 Families

Welcome to the Reception 2 class page! 

Thank you all for a super week. The children have shown lots of resilience and I couldn't be prouder of them all. They are all finding their way around and friendships are beginning to blossom! They look SO smart in their school uniforms! Lunch time went really well and play time with KS1 saw them connecting with siblings and friends from the community. 

Next week will be a full routine, so look out for them being much more tired! We have PE on Mondays and Tuesdays so the children will need to come to school in their full PE kit on these days going forward. PE days do change from term to term but we'll be sure to keep you posted. PE kit consists of a white t-shirt, black or grey leggings/joggers/shorts, school jumper or cardigan and importantly, sturdy trainers that they will be able to safely play in indoors and outdoors. They also need a named bottle of fresh water every day. Please make sure that you write your child's name in their uniform, especially jumpers and cardigans, otherwise it'll be impossible for us to reunite them when they take them off!

At the top of the page is a link to the Reception Autumn 2025 Curriculum Letter. This will give you an overview of what we will be getting up to in the coming term.
