Week 3
Hello everyone.
This week has been busy and lots of fun in reception. Your children certainly know how to play! They are very creative and have got fantastic imaginations.
We have moved further into our topic this week by looking at how plants grow and what they need to help them grow. Each child has planted their own pot of sunflower seeds and we have also planted some class beans. The children are looking after them and waiting to watch them grow.
In maths we have been securing our knowledge of number bonds to 10 and have enjoyed our PE sessions this week.
The day the veterinary nurse came to Reception.
We were very Lucky to have Ivy's mum come to school on Friday and explain her role to the children. She told them lots about what happens at the vets and shared lots of the equipment that is used. Each of the children enjoyed bringing their teddies to the teddy clinic. They were all very brave and got a sticker and a certificate each. Thank you Olivia!!
