Hello R2 Families
Thank you for attending Parent's Evening this week. It was great speaking to you grown ups and celebrating your fabulous children
We have been busy this week!
In maths we have been sharing and grouping (early division). The children practised this using moveable objects first and then grouped objects pictorially.
We are loving
our new dinosaur topic. Tom has been inspiring others to be a dinosaur researcher!
Miss Edwards treated R1and R2 to an archeology excavation kit! What fun!
Our class pebble jar has been filled to the top again! The children chose their own reward- making choc spread/jam or cucumber butties and eating them in a picnic in the sun! Yum! Well done R2 for always working together as a team
Next week we'll continue with sharing and grouping in maths. We'll learn the 'ur' as in purse digraph in phonics and as part of our topic, we'll be learning about a special person from the past - Mary Enning. We'll be sharing this lovely non-fiction text..
.
Please remember that it is NO CLOTHES DAY on friday. Please wear what you like IN RETURN FOR A BOTTLE OF ANYTHING for our up and coming PFTA summer fair.
Have lovely weekends everyone!
