Week 6
R2's Last Week of the Spring Term!
In maths we explored the properties of 3D shapes by seeing which could roll, slide or stack. We also created some more complex repeated patterns, using 3 colours.
Thanks to the children who very confidently came up to the front of the class to tell us all about their Eid celebrations. We enjoyed creating our own Henna pattern designs.
You may have noticed that your child came home with a special football, Pokemon themed certificate and some Pokemon cards. They took part in a fun tournament with Mr Shingler and did a super job!
Easter Fun!
We learnt about what Easter means to people who are Christians. We found out that Easter is a time that everyone enjoys the Springtime, new life and most importantly chocolate! We made Easter baskets, bunny ears, had an Easter egg hunt and enjoyed feasting on warm, buttery hot cross buns!
