Week 6

This week in class we started Drawing Club. We shared a great book called The Disgusting Sandwich. This generated some great ideas from the children! I have attached a link to the story as I think the children will enjoy sharing it with you.

Read Aloud for Home and School. This read aloud story is from the lovely picture The Disgusting Sandwich written by Gareth Edwards and illustrated by Hannah Shaw. One day, a boy drops his sandwich in a sandpit, and the race is on! A very hungry badger wants it, but he's just not quick enough.

Following on from this Miss Edwards and I thought it would be nice for the children to make their own sandwiches. On Friday we listened to the story The Giant Jam Sandwich and then the children made and ate their own sandwich. As you will see from the photos, this was a big hit!
