Week beginning 12th July
What a busy week we've had this week!
On Tuesday we took part in the sponsored school Danceathon and mile to raise money for our new climbing frame. We loved dancing to the music and even had the energy to walk the mile but we were tired by the end of the day!
On Wednesday we sat in the sunshine and enjoyed our delicious picnic lunch prepared for us by Mrs Butterworth, Mrs Watson and Mrs Pringle (the school kitchen staff). It was so warm that we enjoyed having our ice-cream (or frozen yoghurt) as dessert to help keep us cool.
Finally on Friday we got to enjoy our sports day (postponed from Monday due to the weather
). We were split into teams and had a brilliant morning doing lots of different relay races. We were proud to receive our medals for participating and being supportive team mates.
